not only fighting dogs

       It's also not just the dogs fighting in the rink that are affected, its also so many other animals that are hurt and beaten for the training of the fighting dog. Many smaller house hold pets like small dogs or cats are used as "bait." Cats and dogs are usually stolen and used in bloody training exercises for the training dogs. They die or will die shortly. Also if the dog or cat is known for fighting back they sometimes duck tape their jaws shut and tie their paws together leaving them literally defenseless and an easy target. As I did my research  I found an interesting dog story that I would like to share

   There was a dog named sweetie she was bait for these fighting dogs but did not suffer from death although she did suffer from major starvation. She would  often be tied up to a tread mill and stayed on there running until she was needed for bait. and if she stopped running she would be straggled from falling behind or get major road rash from the treadmill.With no food and lots of exercise she would have been done if it wasn't for a police officer who heard her yelping and went to go save her. When she arrived at the vets she was 5.5kg (12lbs) underweight. There was little skin of her and what ever skin they was on her had dog bite imprints on it and her ribs were extremely visual. As the vets gave her food and cared for her she not only gained 2kg (about 5kg) in only 4 days but she also went from being a scared and shy dog to acting like any other dog.

What I'm tryng to say is that saving these animals can be so easy if we put our minds to it.
